Fairfield County Youth Baseball Association

About our Club

Since 1978 the Fairfield County Youth Baseball Association (FCYBA) has given children between the ages of 6 and 18 the opportunity to play baseball. FCYBA is improving and expanding its efforts including dedicated diamonds with regulation home run fences and pro-style grass infields, high school baseball rules for ages 11 and up, with bigger diamonds at each age group, Ohio High School Athletic Association sanctioned umpires for ages 13 and up and all tournament play. FCYBA plays under high-school baseball rules for ages 11 and up. This allows players to learn at an earlier age the more advanced aspects of the game such as pick-offs, lead-offs, and dropped-third strikes, and better prepares them for junior-high and high school ball. FCYBA has its own facilities on Tshcopp Road, complete with regulation home run fences and high-school style grass infields. FCYBA is committed to preparing kids for the next level of baseball. We emphasize player development over win / loss records and stress positive coaching. It is our hope that every kid who wants to play baseball will have the chance to do so, will learn the skills they need to continue playing if they choose, and will develop from the valuable life lessons baseball has to offer.
